Ask a Smarttube installation to your electrician: this is a cable certified by Proximus. Your electrician can take care of this when he comes by to do the electrical works.
Connection to the Proximus network: you can contact Proximus to have your home connected to the Proximus network. Request the connection in good time (call 0800 55 800) so that the Proximus technician can stop by at the same time as your water and electricity are connected.
In this case, you will need to do the preparatory work and you will have to be present during the installation:
- Make sure that it is possible for the Proximus cable to be installed from the building line right up to the place of the connection point: install a hard, smooth-walled PVC conduit for future cables. The conduit should be 50 mm in diameter, have a pull cord and be laid in a 60-cm-deep trench, in a straight line and perpendicular to the building line.
- Please provide a wooden mounting board of at least 50 x 50 cm for the installation of the connection point in an easily accessible room, close to the location from which the connection pipes depart towards the other rooms.
- There should also be at least two 230 V electric outlets in this location.
